Small Business Month is happening throughout October and I am excited to invite everyone to celebrate by joining a workshop at one of the many unique small businesses in my electorate, Naturally Ready Marrickville.

It is with equal parts sadness and gratitude that I today acknowledge Ms Nina Alidenes, Mr David Murphy and Mr RJ Lines and all the team at One Penny Red and Vernon's Bar who have announced that they will be closing their iconic Summer Hill restaurant and bar at the end of this year.

I was pleased to recently join the founders and current and past team members of Bob and Pete's to celebrate their 40th birthday!
