I encourage everyone to come down to the Summer Hill Social on Sunday 10 March between 11am and 5pm.

The vibrant café culture of the Inner West is just one of the many reasons that we love our local neighbourhood and I am happy to welcome a great new addition to the scene in Pelican.

I wish to extend my congratulations to all the Class of 2023 across my Summer Hill electorate. 

I was fortunate to join Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Mayor Darcy Byrne, members of Lewis Herman's family and many locals at the opening of the newly upgraded Lewis Herman Reserve in Ashfield on 4 December 2023.

I wish to recognise the invaluable work of Stepping Stone House in supporting vulnerable youth in my Summer Hill electorate. 

Athena Spyropoulos was a much-loved member of our Marrickville community. 

When the cost of living continues to play on all our minds, the Inner West Sustainability Hub and Green Living Centre have come together to offer a program that helps us deal with the cost of living and importantly how we might be more energy efficient.

I wish to welcome Jannawi Family Centre to their new premises at the Flour Mills in Summer Hill, after serving the Inner West and South-Western Sydney communities from their Lakemba home for over 40 years.

I was honoured to recently attend a celebration dinner recognising the 50th anniversary of the Child Abuse Prevention Service [CAPS], Australia's oldest child abuse prevention service.

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Ms Mary Boustani and the Inner West Council on their recent honours at the Women in Local Government Awards.
