I recognise the fiftieth anniversary of one of the most loved and valued places in my community, the Addison Road Community Centre. 

I congratulate Dr Ursula Dubosarsky on being made a Member of the Order of Australia, which is a richly deserved recognition of one of the most talented and original voices in Australian literature and a cherished member of our Marrickville community.

I was honoured to recently open artist Genevieve McCrea's exhibit In Between the Now and Not Yet at the Chrissie Cotter Gallery.
