A Minns Labor Government will plan and build Western Sydney’s transport future links and ensure that growing communities have the infrastructure and transport they need to get to and from work and around the city.

The NSW Liberal Government has broken a promise made in November 2022 to build seven new River Class Ferries locally, admitting late yesterday that it rejected bids from local shipbuilders to construct the ferries here.

A Chris Minns Labor Government will reopen Elliott Street Wharf in West Balmain, create new ferry stops in Annandale and Pyrmont and will review the frequency of ferry services to Drummoyne to deliver more ferry services and more ferry stops for passengers.

A Minns Labor Government will make life easier for growing communities across the state by increasing funding in the transport budget for active transport infrastructure with a $60 million investment. 

A Minns Labor Government will upgrade our train stations to make them more accessible, safe and secure with a $300 million investment into the Transport Access Program (TAP).

Public Transport is a basic service any Government must deliver for the benefit of its citizens.

Paul Broad has previously advocated for the privatisation of the New South Wales rail network, saying on 30 June 2011, "I do think there's opportunity for that." He is now the Premier's special adviser. Does the Premier agree with his view that our State's rail network should be privatised?

From all my conversations with taxi plate owners and taxi drivers, it is crystal clear that they are heartbroken and angry after having been let down time and again by this Liberal-Nationals Government. Taxi plate owners and their families have been waiting on this bill for more than seven years—the equivalent of nearly two parliamentary terms in New South Wales—because this Government would not do right by them.

On time running on Sydney's train network is the worst it has been in four years, with nearly 20 per cent of trains late in October.

Given the Premier has been promising the second stage of Parramatta Light Rail since 2014, yet the project still has not received planning approval, does not have a final business case and will not be delivered this decade, why should the people of Parramatta ever believe his promises again?
