The River Canoe Club, Cooks River Mudcrabs and Cooks River Alliance have spearheaded a new and bold effort to reduce the amount of litter in the Cooks River by 2025.

Hawke's Brewing Company, based in Marrickville, has been doing its bit to increase vaccinations throughout the COVID-19 outbreak, with its "Jab and Slab" and "Race you to the pub" campaigns.

Metro Assist, Ashfield, has been central to our community's response to the COVID-19 outbreak and lockdown.

Don Smith sadly passed away on 1 July 2021.

Kenneth George Adderley sadly passed away on 8 July 2021, surrounded by his loving family. Kenneth was a devout supporter of the South Sydney Rabbitohs and loved attending live theatre and music performances.

Growing up Mike Bailey was pretty much part of the family to me, coming on the ABC each night to tell us about the weather. He was a trusted, familiar voice.
