Notice of motion to support inner west asylum seeker projects

Jo Haylen has called on the Government to fund programs to tackle homophobia and discrimination against migrant, culturally and linguistically diverse and Indigenous LGBTI people. 

We must live up to the promise of our own generosity and compassion. We must let them stay.

Multiculturalism is one of the great hallmarks of our country and of this State. We all have value and our country is built by many hands on the foundations of mutual respect.

Jo Haylen has shown support for Asylum Seekers in Summer Hill and throughout Australia. 

The Member for Summer Hill, Jo Haylen, has given her inaugural speech to the NSW State Parliament. 

Local community language schools are set to receive an historic funding boost of more than $75 per student to $200 per student under a Labor Government.
