As the impacts of climate change become ever more apparent, we will see more and more extreme weather events and greater pressure placed on our emergency services personnel. We on this side know that it is the families, the poor, the vulnerable, the uninsured who will suffer most as a result. 

I would like to raise a number of objections to proposals for the exhaust stack depicted in the recently released Draft addendum to the M4 East Urban Design and Landscape Plan.

Jo Haylen today cautiously welcomed news that Ausgrid has committed to reducing the cutback of inner west trees, but called for greater accountability around the contractors used by Ausgrid to manage the trees.
