Wilkins Fair Day is one of the biggest and most loved community events in the Inner West and it was a pleasure to officially open the event on Sunday. Fair Day is about more than just a fun day out. Every dollar raised will help fund improvements for students, including new playground facilities, water bottle bubblers, and classroom enrichment materials that will benefit local kids for years to come. What makes days like these so special is the incredible community behind it. A special thank you to Katrina Byrne, President of the Wilkins P&C, for her leadership, and to Kim Ashton and Liz Pjeic, whose hard work helped bring another successful Fair Day to life. Thankyou also to many volunteers, teachers, staff, parents and carers who gave their time to make the day such a success. Our local public schools are the heart of our community, and it was wonderful to see so many people to come together to support Wilkins. Congratulations to everyone involved on pulling off another fantastic Fair Day!
