That this House:

1. Notes a bill to ban harmful gay conversion therapy has passed the Victorian Legislative Council.

2. Acknowledges gay conversion therapies are baseless, damaging, cruel and have no place in the community.

3. Calls on the Minister for Health and Medical Research and the Attorney General to join the Opposition in condemning these practices and to introduce legislation to ban them as a matter of urgency.
