Jo Haylen moves that this House:

1. Notes the historical importance of what was known as Richardson's Lookout above the Cooks River in Marrickville, both to indigenous peoples pre-settlement and later as the focal site of the Warren Estate.
2. Notes the work of the Gallipoli Centenary Peace Campaign (GCPC) and Marrickville Council to rename the site as Richardson's Lookout – Marrickville Peace Park as a gesture to balance Australia's military history with an ongoing hope to promote peace and reconciliation.
3. Congratulates both the GCPC and Marrickville Council on the successful launch of the Peace Park on 8 November 2015.
