That this House:

1. Notes the extraordinary work of Rape and Domestic Violence Services Australia (RDVSA) which provides specialist sexual assault and domestic violence trauma counselling services for the national 1800 RESPECT line.
2. Condemns the Commonwealth Government for the 75 percent funding cut to this vital service.
3. Calls upon the Premier to make urgent representations to the Prime Minister to restore sufficient and sustainable funding to RDVSA so that it can continue its vital and lifesaving work for the women, children, and men who contact 1800RESPECT and the NSW Rape Crisis Centre.
