I move that on the next sitting day, this House:

1. Notes recent studies show over 22 per cent of New South Wales after school care services report waiting lists of more than 20 families.

2. Acknowledges the vital importance of after school services to working families, particularly mothers, especially in the Sydney inner west where there is a critical shortage of places.

3. Calls on the Government to immediately fund places in after school care and to do more to alleviate pressure on working parents.
