I give notice that on the next sitting day this House:

1. Notes Opposition Members are currently conducting the NSW School Safety Survey, giving parents, carers, residents and educators the opportunity to report road safety issues around local schools.
2. Notes the survey is timely given the Australian Road Safety Foundation reports that road trauma is the number one cause of death of children aged 14 and under, and that school pick-up is the most dangerous time for collisions according to insurance data.
3. Encourages New South Wales residents to complete the survey online at www.nswschoolsafety.com.
4. Calls on the Government to take road safety around schools seriously and ensure children are able to get to and from school safely.
