Congratulations and thank you to Mr Graham Jenkins, Marrickville Legal Centre Board Chair, as he completes his time in the role and hands over to incoming Chair Ms Catherine Kelso. Graham has provided steady, dedicated leadership and under his stewardship, Marrickville Legal Centre has cemented its position as a pillar of support for our most disadvantaged community members. I'm delighted to welcome Ms Catherine Kelso into the role of Board Chair. Catherine brings formidable expertise in governance, accountability, and litigation to this role. She has volunteered as an evening advice solicitor for more than a decade and has been an active Board member since 2024. At a time when legal need is escalating across our community, Catherine's leadership comes at a critical moment. In 2024–25 alone, Marrickville Legal Centre assisted more than 6,800 people throughout NSW across 10,700 services—many dealing with domestic violence, housing instability, and severe financial distress. Catherine is committed to delivering "Justice For Us All" and ensuring innovative solutions provide a responsive, fair pathway to justice for those who need it most.
