Jo Haylen MP moves that this House:

1. Condemns the Federal Government's cuts to Community Legal Centres, which will see thousands of people turned away from legal centres after 1 July 2016.

2. Notes that the Marrickville Legal Centre has turned away over 3,000 people in the last year alone due to insufficient funding and looks set to lose their dedicated youth solicitor and Domestic and Family Violence Officer unless the Government steps in and acts now.

3. Calls on the Government to ensure legal representation and assistance for our community's most vulnerable by persuading their Federal counterparts to reverse these debilitating cuts.
