That this House:
- Notes that the Government has released its Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the proposed M4-M5 link of WestConnex.
- Notes that the EIS indicates that construction will continue in Haberfield until 2022, with the potential for a brand new construction site on Parramatta Road, Ashfield, with four unfiltered stacks in Rozelle and a second unfiltered stack in St Peters.
- Notes that at the same time as the Government has moved to sell a 51 percent stake in Sydney Motorway Corporation, drivers are avoiding the tolls on the newly widened M4, entirely undermining the Government's economic modelling for the project.
- Calls on the Government to come clean about the failures and deficiencies of the WestConnex project and to finally conclude that WestConnex will not deliver.
