A question to the Minister for Environment, Minister for Heritage and Minister for Local Government:

  1. Will the Government invest in domestic recyclers to help guarantee local solutions to the impending crisis in kerbside recycling?
  2. How is the Government working with community organisations in waste management - including Reverse Garbage, the Bower Reuse and Repair Cafe and others - to improve reuse of materials?
  3. Is the Government considering amending its procurement rules to encourage greater use of recycled materials and aggregate in major projects such as roadbuilding or pipe-laying?
