A question to the Minister for Environment, Minister for Heritage and Minister for Local Government:
- Will the Government invest in domestic recyclers to help guarantee local solutions to the impending crisis in kerbside recycling?
- How is the Government working with community organisations in waste management - including Reverse Garbage, the Bower Reuse and Repair Cafe and others - to improve reuse of materials?
- Is the Government considering amending its procurement rules to encourage greater use of recycled materials and aggregate in major projects such as roadbuilding or pipe-laying?
