Growing older should mean growing more connected — and that is precisely the vision that drives Inner West Neighbour Aid every single day. With a simple but powerful purpose — supporting seniors to live independently, build friendships and thrive in their local community — Neighbour Aid delivers programs that make a real difference to older Inner West residents. From gardening and help at home, to dog walking, pet adoption and assisted online shopping, their Around the Home programs help seniors stay safe and independent. Health and wellbeing programs including Alive & Kicking, Stand Tall, Strong Together and Dance Moves keep body and mind active. And their Out & About program — outings, workshops, Trolley Talk and Living Well With Dementia sessions — opens doors to new experiences and new friendships. At the heart of everything Neighbour Aid does are the values that define them — kindness, integrity, diversity, choice and community. The belief that everyone has a voice, everyone belongs and everyone deserves to be seen. A heartfelt thank you to Board Chairperson Alison Muir, General Manager Allison Yee-Brogan, all the team, and the many selfless volunteers whose dedication and commitment makes it all possible.
