I congratulate Pratten Park Bowling Club, Ashfield, on hosting the Inner West Music Fest this Sunday.
The pandemic has been a long and difficult road for musicians, performers and artists, whether due to income lost during lockdowns, the closure of venues or, more recently, cancelled gigs due to COVID cases. But the lifting of restrictions offers new opportunities to celebrate our live music scene, particularly in the inner west.
On Sunday much‑loved acts will perform, including The Moonlighters, Stitcher, The Juliets, Dial Denial and Higgins. In addition, a bar, cake stall, jumping castle and market stalls will provide fun for the whole family.
I thank Pratten Park Bowling Club for creating such a positive, fun and engaging event, and for further showcasing the excellent musicians, performers and artists who live and work in Sydney's inner west
