Congratulations to the local inner west businesses who have come away winners in the 2025 Inner West Local Business Awards. Community-run local businesses drive our local economy, creating jobs and providing localised service and knowledge, and many of them are much‑loved fixtures on our high streets. I congratulate the many award-winning businesses in my electorate of Summer Hill, including Latitude Accounting, a much-loved accounting firm in Marrickville, which won the Business of the Year Award. I congratulate other award winners excelling in their categories: InSync Health Clinic Marrickville, awarded Outstanding Health Improvement Services; Panetta Mercato of Marrickville Metro, winner of Outstanding Fruit and Vegetable Shop; Souvlaki Boys in Marrickville, awarded Outstanding Specialised Retail Business for the fifth time in a row, no less; Dulwich Hill Gourmet Meats, Outstanding Gourmet Food award; Pasticceria Papa in Haberfield, for most Outstanding Bakery and Cake Business, and Pharmacy4Less in Ashfield Mall.
