Congratulations to the Inner West Brewery Association and the creators of the Inner West Ale Trail for their outstanding contribution to our local community and economy. Launched in 2020 by Peita Blythe with support from Vanessa Brewster, Stella Blake Kelly and Alex Barnett, the Ale Trail is a curated experience connecting 16 independent breweries across Marrickville, Petersham and Alexandria. It showcases over 320 craft beers, 100 wines, ciders and spirits, alongside delicious food and more than 60 weekly events – making the Inner West Australia's craft beer capital. The Trail is more than a tasting tour – it's a celebration of local creativity, hospitality and community spirit. Thanks to new signage installed by Inner West Council, it's now easier than ever for locals and visitors to explore the breweries that activate our streets and create hundreds of local jobs. Led by President Richard Adamson, the Association includes founding members Young Henrys, Wayward, Batch, Willie the Boatman and Grifter, each reflecting the authentic, eclectic character that makes the inner west special. This is local industry at its best; bold, independent and proudly Inner West.
