Heaps Gay is coming back to Marrickville for its twelfth birthday. Heaps Gay is a vibrant celebration that embodies the inclusive spirit and cultural diversity that makes our community so special. For over a decade, Kat and her team have been creating Heaps Gay parties "for queers and those who love them", establishing safe, joyous spaces where everyone can express themselves authentically. This festival represents more than just entertainment: It is a powerful statement about belonging, acceptance and the right of all people to celebrate who they are. Kat's commitment to showcasing emerging local talent while bringing diverse communities together reflects the exact reason the inner west is a great and welcoming place. From live music to DJ performances and art, this event transforms our streets into a canvas of creativity and connection. Events like Heaps Gay remind us that we have great spaces where everybody feels valued and included, and our entire community is stronger for it.
