I'm absolutely thrilled to celebrate a fantastic new community radio program that's hitting the airwaves across Greater Sydney, Newcastle and the Illawarra—The Good Vibrations Show, coming to you direct from the Inner West! This is a vibrant thirty-minute program created for seniors, by seniors. Every week you'll hear music nostalgia, healthy ageing insights, lifestyle stories, trivia to keep your mind sharp, local "what's on" updates, and inspiring guest interviews covering everything from face yoga to decluttering to Men's Shed groups. What makes this show truly special is that it's entirely researched, hosted and produced by seniors themselves. The Good Vibrations crew are developing media skills, building confidence, and proving that creativity has no age limit. The brilliant Mary Labrie, a Canadian-Australian broadcaster and award-winning podcaster, secured a Community Wellness Grant to make this happen. Radio Skid Row and Radio 2RPH are also supporting the show with studio access and training. This is what community radio does best—connecting people, sparking ideas, and combating isolation. Tune in and celebrate our vibrant seniors' community!
