I recently had the pleasure of meeting some exceptional young leaders from local high schools participating in the Secondary Student Leadership Program held at NSW Parliament House. Congratulations to Dulwich Hill High School of Visual Arts and Design students, Alexandra Hones and Brendan Couley; from Canterbury Boys High School, Hugo Tang and Richard Le; from Casimir Catholic College, Olivia Tsigaropoulos and Saxon Fitzgerald; from St Maroun's College, Catherine Sleiman and Sophia Ngo; from Marrickville High School, Simon Best and Elenoa Afu and from St Vincent's College, Matthew Mummolo and Emma Soo. It was great to hear your insightful questions and thoughtful discussion about the future of NSW and Australia. You showed wisdom and insight beyond your years, and that fills me with great confidence for the future of our country. Congratulations to all these amazing young leaders for taking on a leadership role within your schools, I can't wait to see the impact that you all have in your communities in the future. Thank you to all the hardworking teachers, school support staff and families who are supporting you.
