Congratulations to Felix Fisher for his extraordinary commitment to fundraising for cancer research. On Sunday 26 October 2025, Felix completed the Seven Bridges Walk, covering 28 kilometres around Sydney Harbour to raise funds in support of the Cancer Council NSW. At just 14 years old, Felix has turned a family challenge into a tradition of hope and resilience. He first took on the Seven Bridges Walk in 2018 when he was only eight years old, walking alongside his mum Silvana who was undergoing radiation treatment for breast cancer. Since then, Felix has completed every Seven Bridges Walk with his mum, celebrating her recovery while raising vital funds for a cancer-free future. He also holds regular cake stalls to fundraise for cancer research. The stalls have become a neighbourhood fixture and are much loved by the Hurlstone Park community. Felix's dedication and compassion are inspiring. He is a powerful reminder to us all the difference one person can make. I commend Felix for his generosity and dedication in fundraising to support families impacted by cancer.
