Thank you Etel Haramina for bringing your bright, positive energy and warm smile to brighten the day for passengers at the SouthWest link Dulwich Hill bus stop. Etel has been the bus marshal at Dulwich Hill since the SouthWest link service started, and she has only missed one day of work in all that time. Etel has received many compliments from passengers and is described as "incredible", "always kind", "fantastic" and "so friendly". It isn't an easy job to be outside in all types of weather, and rain, hail or shine Etel has shown up with a smile on her face to help everyone, even holding her umbrella over passengers so they don't get wet getting on the bus. Etel also makes sure the inner west's furry friends aren't left out, making homemade dog treats to share! One passenger described how Etel "starts my day with kindness and a smile and I thoroughly appreciate it" with another saying "my mood was suddenly uplifted because of her kind energy. She is a blessing to the community". On behalf of all our community thank you Etel – we are so grateful for all you do.
