Congratulations to the Ella Centre in Haberfield on proudly celebrating over 50 years of service to the community. For half a century, the Ella has provided vital support to our seniors with disability and individuals living with dementia. At a time when loneliness is affecting so many, the Ella is providing connection for the most vulnerable in our community. This enduring commitment to care has made a meaningful difference in the lives of many families across our community. Many of the participants have been connected with the Ella Centre for more than 25 years, reflecting the profound and lasting impact the organisation has had on the lives of individuals and their families. Thank you to the dedicated staff and volunteers, led by Service Manager Sonja Despotov, who have contributed to the Ella Centre's success over the past five decades. Your tireless efforts have transformed this facility into a vital hub for older disabled adults in our area. Thanks also to the Board Chair Tim Robinson and all the Board members for your leadership and commitment. I look forward to seeing the Ella Centre's continued impact in the years to come.
