I would encourage you all to come down to Marrickville Road in Dulwich Hill on Sunday 29 September to celebrate the community and delights of the Inner West village of Dulwich Hill. Dulwich Hill is ready to shine for the festival's return to the streets. Footpaths and streetscapes will come alive with live music, foodie treats, artisan stallholders and more. This year the festival has partnered with the Inner West Artist Market to bring you the finest Inner West creatives, workshops and performances across two stages and roving around the site. Think artisan bakeries, book stores, live entertainment and family friendly activities and you're at the Dulwich Hill Festival. The festival will kick off at 12pm with a Welcome to Country on the Main Stage, followed by an afternoon of music from seven different bands - covering music from Brazil, Greece, Americana folk, and Indigenous traditions. Congratulations to Mayor Darcy Byrne, General Manager Peter Gainsford and the whole Inner West Council team for putting on such a wonderful community event. I look forward to seeing you all there!
