I am delighted to congratulate Megan Louise Ng (Motto) of Marrickville on being awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in the General Division for her outstanding service to business administration and governance. Megan has had a distinguished career in leadership, serving as Chief Executive Officer of the Governance Institute of Australia from 2019 to 2025, and previously as Chief Executive Officer of Consult Australia from 2006 to 2018. She served as a Director of Standards Australia from 2015 to 2024 and as a Director of the Committee for Economic Development of Australia from 2017 to 2023, where she was appointed an Honorary Life Trustee. A Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia, the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Chartered Governance Institute, Megan has also been recognised as an Australian Financial Review and Westpac 100 Women of Influence recipient in 2014. This honour is a well-deserved recognition of Megan's remarkable contribution to business governance in Australia. The Marrickville community is truly fortunate to have someone of Megan's skill and dedication among us. Congratulations Megan.
