Congratulations to CASS, an absolute pillar of our multicultural community that has just marked 45 years of outstanding service. Since 1981 CASS has grown from a small group of passionate individuals to a leading community service provider, supporting over 8,500 families every week from Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Malaysian, Filipino and many other culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. CASS delivers a comprehensive range of services that genuinely enhance social cohesion and help our diverse communities thrive. I particularly thank Professor Li and the entire CASS board for their leadership, along with the more than 850 staff members and 450 active volunteers who turn up every day with passion and commitment. It was an honour to recently celebrate Chinese Lunar New Year with Ivan Wong, CASS vice-chairperson, and the whole community at Ashfield Town Hall. CASS has been serving our community with compassion and excellence for 45 years. Here's to another 45.
