It is with great pleasure I recognise the great work of Carter Williamson, an award-winning architecture firm in Summer Hill. Founder Shaun Carter is a leading advocate and educator in the industry, and it was a pleasure to meet with him and team recently to better understand their work. Carter Williamson has always been passionate about housing availability and accessibility, believing strongly that architecture should be built with design excellence, longevity and inclusivity intertwined. Carter Williamson's designs were recently selected to be one of the four featured in the new Low-Rise Pattern Homes for NSW book – an essential part of the NSW Government's plan to deliver more sustainable well-designed affordable homes across NSW. Their design for the NSW Pattern Book is a set of spacious Victorian-style terraces reimagined for contemporary living with private courtyards in the centre of each home. The pattern drawings have options for adapting the base design to suit the landowners site and preferences. Thank you, Shaun and the team at Carter Williamson for the great work that you do and your contribution to quality housing for NSW.
