A question to the Minister for Roads, Maritime and Freight:
- Why have Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) not deployed a crossing guard at the school crossing on Bland Street adjacent to Haberfield Public School despite repeated requests by the community?
- Considering the allocation of crossing guards is based on a threshold of the number of unsupervised crossings, are dangerous crossings in New South Wales going without crossing guards because parents and carers are more likely to supervise children the more dangerous a crossing is?
- How are the Minister and RMS working to ensure dangerous crossings that do not currently meet the criteria for a crossing guard are met?
- How many crossing guards are deployed at crossings that do not currently meet the criteria set out by RMS?
- Where are they?
