Congratulations to Biljana Milosevic, marking 25 years of dedicated service to Jannawi Family Centre. For more than four decades, Jannawi has supported some of the most vulnerable children and families across the Inner West and South West Sydney and, for more than half the time, Biljana has been at the heart of that work. Based at the Flour Mills in Summer Hill, Jannawi is a small organisation—just 12 staff—but its impact is enormous. Last year alone, it supported 158 clients, most from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Through trauma informed care and counselling, Jannawi walks alongside children and families experiencing violence, abuse, neglect and harm. The team offer tailored support including counselling, complex case management, safety planning, parenting education, court support, home visiting and supported playgroups. As Director, Biljana is a widely respected leader, sharing her expertise across the sector and helping to strengthen services beyond her own organisation. Those who know her speak of her compassion, integrity and deep commitment to community. Congratulations Biljana on this milestone and thank you for changing so many lives for the better over 25 years.
