Jo Haylen, the Member for Summer Hill, will host a breakfast next Monday to acknowledge and remember women affected by breast cancer, with all proceeds going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

“We all know someone who has been touched by breast cancer,” said Ms Haylen.

“It is the most common cancer in women in Australia, with one in eight women diagnosed before the age of 85.”

“Breast cancer robs families of mothers, sisters, daughters and wives and when it comes to finding a cure, every cent counts. I’m proud to join the thousands of women across the State hosting a pink Ribbon Breakfast for the National Breast Cancer Foundation this October,” said Ms Haylen.

Haylen’s Pink Ribbon Breakfast will take place at Beejay’s Café (395 Illawarra Rd, Marrickville) from 7:30-9:00am on Monday October 19.

Tickets are $20, including a light breakfast and donation to the National breast Cancer Foundation, and are strictly limited.

For tickets, call (02) 9572 5900 before Friday 16 October.
