A question to the Minister for Environment, Minister for Local Government, and Minister for Heritage regarding NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service staff:

  1. How many full-time equivalent staff were employed in the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service in each of the financial years since the 2011 State election?

  2. Currently, how many NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service staff members are directly responsible for wildlife conservation and protected area management, risk abatement for endangered species and assessments for future national park declarations, versus support services, including cleaning and monitoring carparks (as at 16 May 2018)?
  3. What proportion of staff are directly responsible for wildlife conservation and protected area management, risk abatement for endangered species and assessments for future national park declarations, versus support services, including cleaning and monitoring carparks?

  4. How has this changed over the past seven financial years since the Government took office?
