A question to the Minister for the Environment, Minister for Local Government, and Minister for Heritage:

  1. Is it correct that 82 per cent of reserves established in the NSW Koala Strategy are already designated Forest Management Zones for the protection of koalas?
  2. Is it correct that only two per cent of the land set aside as reserves are deemed high-quality koala habitat?
  3. Is it correct that eight of the 12 sites will continue to allow hunting of feral animals?
  4. Considering the above, how is the strategy going to protect koalas?
