That this House:

1. Notes the Commonwealth Government has committed to a national postal survey on marriage equality, risking the well-being of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Intersex, and Questioning (LGBTIQ) communities across Australia.

2. Notes that the delivery of ballot papers begins on 12 September 2017.

3. Notes also that the Government has failed to commit additional funding to assist counselling and support organisations who are experiencing an influx of calls for assistance as a result of the survey.

4. Calls on the Premier to immediately commit additional resources for mental health organisations serving the LGBTIQ community and to commit to publicly campaigning for the yes campaign.
