I would like to celebrate a true Inner West treasure – the Jubilate Singers, marking more than 30 years of bringing our community together through music. Founded in 1995 by the extraordinary Susan Reppion-Brooke OAM, the choir has grown from humble beginnings in Marrickville to become a vibrant, inclusive musical force based at Holy Trinity Church, Dulwich Hill. Susan's vision—that classical music is for everyone—continues to resonate through the voices of Jubilate, where children and adults alike have found joy, purpose and belonging. The Jubilate Singers have performed at the Sydney Olympics, raised funds for refugees and asylum seekers, and partnered with young musicians through Symphonia Jubilate. They've been featured on ABC Radio and regularly participate in the Blackheath Choir Festival. We honour the leadership of Music Directors Claire Patti-Chehade, Joanna Brooke and Georgina Andrews and thank founding President Cheryl Fowler, long-time choristers Jonathan Fowler and Sharon Muir, and collaborators including Tracy and Paul Burjan and Dr Sadaharu Muramatsu. I encourage everyone to get down to their anniversary concert at Holy Trinity Anglican Church on Sunday 26 October. To every chorister past and present—thank you! Here's to the next 30 years of harmony.
