Over 100,000 people depend on Canterbury Hospital, but it hasn't seen a substantial upgrade since 1998.

There is no renal dialysis, angiogram or MRI scanning technology at the hospital and only limited ultrasound capacity. 

A full upgrade would mean local residents have access to a modern, world-class hospital and create much needed local jobs.
