Notice of motion in support of arts funding and the arts

Sexual assault anywhere, anytime and committed by anybody is an unforgivable act. The alarming incidence of sexual assault on university campuses must no longer be ignored. 

15 years saving lives. 15 years providing front-line services at the vanguard of medical practice. 15 years transforming the debate about illicit drug use.

Labor members have called for this scheme because we know it is the best way to stop 160 million drink containers ending up on our beaches and in our streets, parks and waterways, such as the Cooks River in my electorate.

The truth is that the chaos and failures in governance have had a real and devastating impact on people.

It is clear that we simply have to invest more to get our kids into preschool.

I am profoundly concerned that young people will be caught by these orders for no good reason, with few legal or judicial protections to support them.

Opposition members understand that investing in infrastructure and saving our environmental heritage is not an either/or proposition.
