Local Member for Summer Hill, Jo Haylen, is calling on the new education minister to immediately fix the school maintenance backlog as local children are forced to return to dilapidated classrooms. 

The Government has sold of $650 million worth of social housing in NSW over the past two years, including $5.93 million of assets flogged off in the Inner West.

Projects delayed include sorely needed upgrades to Lewisham, Petersham and Dulwich Hill stations. Plans for commuter parking at Summer Hill and Marrickville stations are also delayed.
