Labor will fly Aboriginal Flag on Sydney Harbour Bridge permanently

The Aboriginal Flag will permanently fly on the Sydney Harbour Bridge if Labor is elected to government in March 2019. Currently, the Aboriginal flag flies on top of the Australian icon for only 15 days of the year, on occasions such as Australia Day and during NAIDOC week and Reconciliation Week.

The Premier and Transport Minister have blatantly ignored community outrage, pushing ahead with the Liberal’s privatisation of the bus network.

The Government is expected to make an announcement about the new private operator of the Region 6 buses imminently, a move which will inevitably lead to reduced services and job cuts.
