The Minns Labor Government is investing $350 million in Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs), with twenty-two ACCOs winning new contracts to deliver improved supports to vulnerable families under a reformed Family Preservation program, following extensive co-design with Aboriginal communities. 

Congratulations on achieving 50 years of service to our community to Allira's Place, the Aboriginal Women's and Children's Crisis Service.

Today I want to honour the incredible legacy of Sister Alison Bush, a true pioneer in Aboriginal healthcare who began her nursing career in my electorate, at Marrickville District Hospital in the early 1960s.

The Minns Labor Government is delivering the state’s first Aboriginal Cancer Strategy and a funding boost of $12 million to improve cancer outcomes in Aboriginal communities.

I was honoured to recently meet two extraordinary women, Coral Lever and Kimberley Peckham from Nanima Mission, who run the vital mutual aid organisation First Nations Response in Marrickville.

On 23 March the new Aboriginal Survival Memorial in Yeo Park entitled 'Breathe' was officially opened.

A Minns Labor Government will commit $5 million to a 12-month consultation process with First Nations communities on a treaty process for New South Wales.
