I thank the Randwick Petersham Cricket Club for hosting the spectacular Petersham Park Community Day on Sunday 6 November, and unveiling the newly renamed Hughes family-Dudley Seddon Memorial Grandstand.

For thirty years, Inner West Neighbour Aid has provided invaluable support to older people, people with disability and carers within our local community.

I thank the team at Flour Mill Markets and the Summer Hill Little BIG House for collaborating to organise the International Food Festival night market.

The Government needs to urgently find a permanent solution to the flooding to ensure the integrity of the heritage home. 

I warmly congratulate the Marrickville Girl Guides on their centenary celebrations. The Marrickville Girl Guides is the oldest registered Girl Guides company in New South Wales and has been active in the local community for generations.

I congratulate the Haberfield Public School P&C on their successful Halloween Carnival at the end of October. In a tremendous effort, the P&C really went all out for their spooktacular school fete!

I commend Among the Trees on opening the Graham Tilly Woodworking Library, honouring Mr Tilly's legacy and passion for woodwork.

I am pleased to recognise the Inner West Icons podcast: an informative and creative project that celebrates the local history and stories of our vibrant community.

With five AFL Women's games hosted at Marrickville's Henson Park, the real winners of this season were all the football lovers around the Inner West.

The Minister for Metropolitan Roads must listen to the local community and promptly deliver a road safety upgrade for Frederick Street
