Portable bonds scheme to deliver cost of living relief

Millions of renters across the state will soon be able to move homes and transfer their bond with them with the Minns Labor Government investing $6.6 million to develop and deliver the nation’s first Portable Rental Bonds Scheme.

For the past few years, Marrickville residents have patiently watched as the new Nightingale Marrickville project has taken shape over Illawarra Road. 

Like many communities in Sydney and New South Wales, the inner west faces a housing affordability crisis. 

A Minns Labor Government will make it easier for renters to have a pet in New South Wales, by introducing a new fairer and more streamlined application process.

New South Wales is facing a housing and rental crisis, with Sydney rent now accounting for 70 per cent of the median income.
