Makersville 2025 brought together over 150 local artists and creatives in Marrickville on Saturday 26 July. This annual market is the perfect chance for people from all over Sydney to immerse themselves in the unbelievable talent of our local artists. With everything from handmade jewellery and wood working demonstrations to local breweries and food, these markets have something for everyone to enjoy. Makersville showcases an array of our local small creative businesses, including Thirstville, Among the Trees, Made590 and Wildwood Designs, to name a few, and is an incredible way to support our thriving small business community. Makersville is organised by Marna Eringa, the woman behind the small business Artist Made. Marna organises regular activities and markets that celebrate our incredibly vibrant and diverse creative community. I picked up an amazing sketch of local icon Henson Park that is now proudly hanging in my office. A massive thank you and congratulations to Marna and everyone who was a part of this year's Makersville. I can't wait for next year!
