That this House:

1. Acknowledges that even though a third of people in New South Wales rent their home, renters can be evicted with no reason at any time.
2. Notes the Opposition's announcement that it will bring fairness back to the rental market by ending no grounds evictions, an announcement supported by the Tenants Union and stakeholders engaged in the Make Rent Fair campaign.
3. Calls on the Government to follow the Opposition's lead in ending no-grounds evictions and making rent fair.
