I congratulate the Haberfield Dental Practice on celebrating its 100th year of service to the local community.

I congratulate the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Newborn Care Unit on reaching the milestone of fifty years in operation.

The repeated refusal of the Government to fund an upgrade of the Hospital fails patients and fails the nurses, doctors and healthcare workers who work there.

Congratulations to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and the University of Sydney Clinical School for 140 years in operation.

I acknowledge all the local doctors, nurses, pharmacists and health workers who have helped ensure children aged between the ages of 5 and 11 have been able to get vaccinated in time for the return of school.

I recognise the nurses and midwives and the many community members who are taking strike action today.

Over three days in October, St Nicholas Parish Marrickville hosted a pop-up clinic to help connect members of the parish community to COVID-19 vaccines. 

In November 2018, to much fanfare, the New South Wales Government established the Special Commission of Inquiry into the Drug "Ice". Three years later, we still do not have a comprehensive response from the Government.
