That this House:

1. Calls on the Minister for Energy to immediately direct Ausgrid contractors to stop lopping tree across the inner west, including in Haberfield, a heritage conservation area.

2. Notes that under the ISSC 3 Guidelines, each of these trees is designated to be of significance and must only be cut after consultation with councils, local community groups and under the respective Tree Management Plan, none of which has occurred.

3. Calls on the Government to support the people of Haberfield by not further eroding their amenity as they deal with the adverse impacts of Westconnex project, including the dust, noise, heavy trucks and the destruction of heritage homes as well as now the butchery of heritage trees.
