I congratulate the Haberfield Public School P&C on their successful Halloween Carnival at the end of October. In a tremendous effort, the P&C really went all out for their spooktacular school fete!

Families and community members gave themselves a fright on a number of carnival rides, including the very-on-theme Haunted House ride. For the faint of heart, volunteers also ran a variety of Halloween themed carnival games.

While parents enjoyed some fantastic live performances on stage, Haberfield students could also groove to some spooky tunes at their Halloween disco.

Throughout the day, attendees were invited to participate in not one - but two - contests: one for the best costume, and the other, for the best Jack‑o‑lantern carved. The Haberfield community delivered some impressively ghoulish creations.

I extend my sincere congratulations and thanks to all the volunteers at the Haberfield Public School P&C for their astounding fundraising efforts, all to the benefit of our local school students.
