I will move that this House:

(1) Notes the Government knew two years before the Inner West light rail was ground to a stop that there were cracks on the overseas built light rail vehicles.

(2) Notes that despite these warnings, the Government went ahead and bought more of the same light rail vehicles.

(3) Calls on the Minister for Transport to urgently explain to Inner West residents and taxpayers why he ignored the warnings and bought more of the same overseas built light rail vehicles when the ones we had were failing.
